• I have been using the plugin for a long time. It stopped working last week, out of the blue. I am unable to resolve the issue as I am a very non-technical user.

    Hello @cendrinemedia,

thanks for the long time support. We’re here to help, don’t worry. Can you tell us a little bit more about the issue you’re experiencing? Is it a sending related issue? If you can describe what and when is happening on your system, I can narrow down the possible causes. The more detail, the better, if you can, also add screenshots.

On a side note: I saw you also left a two star review, which is perfectly fine and your right to do so. However, please understand that this greatly influence our reliability score here on ww.wp.xz.cn and I do hope you may reconsider it if this support ticket will help you resolving the issues you’re encountering while using Newsletter. Thanks! : )

    Hello Michael,

    Thank you for your response.

The issue started last weekend. The newsletter is no longer sending emails. It was working perfectly before that.

Initially, I thought it was a malware issue, and I ran tests. There is no malware. I also disabled and uninstalled a few plugins, to no avail. Finally, I removed inactive subscribers, and it didn’t change a thing.

    How do I submit screenshots?

    Thank you!

I sent a newsletter at 3 a.m. this morning. It’s almost 7 pm and only 6 emails have been sent so far.

Hi, not sure it is your specific case, but you could be facing a problem with the latest plugin version and a provider with a forced timeout on task execution. Please, goto the page Newsletter/Help/Sending and check if the “Engine lock” is set to a number. Please let me know even which is the speed set on Newsletter/Settings/Sending.

    Thanks!

Hi, it also stopped for me, and I’m not sure why– I assumed it was mail service related, but tests through your plugin and the smtp plugin work fine. About 1800 subscribers in list.

@jlvdaum with stopped what do you mean? Like in the first ticket is something related to the newsletter sending not progressing? Could you follow the same instruction I gave above: “Please, goto the page Newsletter/Help/Sending and check if the “Engine lock” is set to a number. Please let me know even which is the speed set on Newsletter/Settings/Sending.”

Right, test emails send fine, but there is 0 progress when sending an actual newsletter. Engine block is 0.

In a hour, please go to your Dashboard/Update and see if there is an update available for the Newsletter plugin. That last version changes the lock strategy, if the problem is the sending engine lock. For both the requests, thanks.

    Many thanks!

Hi @jlvdaum if the engine lock is zero, you have a different problem. Please open a new support request so we can discuss your specific issue. On the new support request, report if there is a notification on top of the Newsletter admin pages about the “scheduler not working”.
