 * I have the same issue and running WordPress version: 2.8.4. Does this plugin 
   support 2.8.4?
 * I change the number and when I go back to widgets it still shows 1? Anyone else
   having this issue? Any help is greatly appreciated!

 * Hello, i am the author of this plugin. I created the version 2.8 for Wp 2.8.4.
   I am about to release it soon. I was very busy creating 3 more plugins at the
   same time during this plugin development.
