[Plugin: Import Users from CSV] Display name publicly as

Is there a way that I can add data into the field “Display name publicly as” ? I tried the obvious options but nothing worked.
Basically WordPress defaults to the Username, which is a member number on my site, whereas I actually want the Nickname.
