 * When editing a page or article, the elementor editor stays in the hourglass.

   I would say that the problem is incompatibility between widgetkit-for-elementor
   and elementor. you can fix this incompatibility. thank you so much

 * I cannot help at all. I am having issues with revisions to a post does not manifest
   after I leave Elementor. Is this is what is meant with hourglass? I am also getting
   a message from WP, that there are issues with the plugin.

 * Hello,
 * In this case, please try and perform the following troubleshooting steps:
 * 1. Try to switch themes, for example to “Hello Elementor” or a WP default theme
   such as “Twenty-Twenty” then check if you are seeing the same issue.
 * 2. If the above doesn’t help, go ahead and deactivate all the plugins except
   Elementor and check if you are able to edit the page. If so, then activate the
   plugins one by one till the problematic one stops you from editing the page,
   then deactivate it or contact the plugin author regarding the next steps.

 * Thank you for trying to help. Changing themes seem like a very radical solution,
   and not something I would undertake at all. The issue must lie in Elementor.
   It appeared after last update. Nothing else has changed. I have gone back to
   previous update, but it did not resolve it. It also looks different. As I have
   to open the widget area every time, when before the widgets were open. Maybe
   I can fix that in settings. I would much rather just uninstall Elementor than
   change themes, and either try another pagebuilder or I am also contemplating
   getting wp premium. It does take revisions of text. But not text colour and spaces.
   I have to revise such things in wp editor afterwards. I am just nervous to change
   to WP premium.

 * Hello,
 * Thank you for replying.
    Is this still relevant? Are you still seeing the same
   issue? If so, please try and backup your website, then perform the troubleshooting
   steps provided above, such as switching themes, etc. This should work, then let
   us know what was the result.
