 * Ran into some issues on 4 new WP sites we installed over the last few weeks that
   when we try to update themes or plugins, the full install/upgrade screen never
   completes in FF (23.0.1). It is only happening on the 4 newest installs and the
   older sites that are upgraded to 3.6 seem fine.
 * For example, if I try to install “Ultimate Coming Soon Page 1.9.5”, I see the
   install page but this is as far as the install goes:
 * > Downloading install package from [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ultimate-coming-soon-page.1.9.5.zip…](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ultimate-coming-soon-page.1.9.5.zip…)
 * But the older installs (on the same server) I get the full message:
 * > Downloading install package from [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ultimate-coming-soon-page.1.9.5.zip…](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/ultimate-coming-soon-page.1.9.5.zip…)
   >
   > Unpacking the package… Installing the plugin… Successfully installed the plugin
   > Ultimate Coming Soon Page 1.9.5. Activate Plugin | Return to Plugin Installer
 * It only seems to be happening in FF. I have disabled all of the extensions in
   FF, cleared the cache/history, and checked permissions on the sites in question.
 * Anyone else ever run into this issue?

 * Nope. Upgraded about 15 sites to WP 3.6.1 last night and also updated a few plugins.
   All using Firefox 23 – without the slightest problem. Have you tried using another
   browser?

 * Yeah, Chrome works fine, but I don’t use it on a regular basis other than browser
   testing. These are sites that were installed through VirtualMin. I have about
   12 other WP sites on the same VM that are fine and work perfectly in FF. It’s
   just these last 4 installs.

 * Well, it would seem to be specific to your install of Firefox rather than any
   issue within WordPress itself.

 * Just smells odd. 16 WP web sites on the same server… but only the last 4 installs
   show this issue. Appreciate the feedback… just looking to see if anyone had ever
   run into anything like this.
 * Thanks esmi!
