 * That sounds like a server configuration issue. Have you checked your server’s
   error logs? Your host should be able to provide you with access to them.

 * Does this error occur when you are attempting to install or browser for plugins?
 * I would suggest you browser the plugins through the WordPress site and download
   the files and upload them to your server manually.

 * hi patv!
    it’s occur when i browser for plugins, in the plugin part at wp i’m
   doing what you propose, yet… and it works, but i want to make it available to
   install them by the plugin functionality.

 * [@esmi](https://wordpress.org/support/users/esmi/), can you confirm that best
   case permissions are 666 (if we’re not talking about security?). [@rmbgs](https://wordpress.org/support/users/rmbgs/),
   you might want to try that, although I’d strongly advise you to get a confirmation
   on this value before you change it.

 * I understand and agree. I do it this way.
    I’m sure if the problem is with the
   version of wp or apache settings. or how can I do to resolve this situation.
   could you confirm it, please?

 * Generally speaking, files should be 644 and folders 755. If in doubt, it’s always
   best to discuss this with the hosts as the level of security that these settings
   off does vary from host to host.
