# Plugin Interface Not Loading/Failed to Authenticate

 * I just downloaded and installed the plugin, but every time I go to the interface
   page, I see “Click to use a new tab – if the below fails to authenticate properly.”
   I click that link, and a new tab opens with the same message.
 * I am running version 3.0 of the plugin, version 5.2.2 of WP, and the latest version
   of the Avada theme.
 * Any idea how to get past this?

 * If you go to the Benchmark > Settings page, are you missing the Authentication
   Token?
 * If so, try logging into [https://ui.benchmarkemail.com](https://ui.benchmarkemail.com)
   then see if the plugin self heals. We ran into a situation with one user who 
   hadn’t visited the Benchmark Email UI in some time and the plugin was unable 
   to refresh that connection. It’s possible you’re facing the same issue.
 * We’ll work on a fix for that, but in the meantime that might resolve it for you.
