 * Backend is 11am, but frontend (in my client’s Home page) shows 7pm.
 * In the Home page of my client’s website, under “Upcoming Events”, it shows 7pm,
   but it should show 11am. In the events widget that I use on other pages, the
   event also displays 7pm. Can someone please fix this?
 * The timezone has been correctly set to Los Angeles.

 * Hey Kent… I’m not an expert – just thought I’d look at your page to see if I
   could help. But on your Home page for me, I see the “UPCOMING EVENTS” with “Their
   Angels Monthly Meeting on January 2, 2021”, and then the image for the event
   below it with “Sat. Jan 2, 11am Pacific” in it. I also looked on your calendars(
   list and monthly), but they all also have 11am. Where exactly do you see 7pm?
   If I can see it, maybe I can help. 🙂

 * Hello Ray,
 * Thank you so much for taking a look.
 * I actually removed it using css (my client was annoyed by the incorrect time)
   and I completely forgot to update this post. There were multiple instances of
   the 7pm time on the Home page and on widgets that were applied in the calendar
   and events pages. I had to remove those as well using display: none.
 * I read this thread: [https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-time-displaying-wrong-on-frontend/](https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/event-time-displaying-wrong-on-frontend/)
 * and it seems like the issue is created when events are imported. I guess it messed
   up the time?
 * You can see the 7pm time in the Inspector. Please see this image: [https://ibb.co/SrhX21f](https://ibb.co/SrhX21f)

 * Sh yes, importing data with dates has always been tricky. I’ve got more experience
   with importing data into SQL with custom cos on Windows… and while I’ve been
   working with WordPress for years, I’ve only recently (and reluctantly, at my
   age) started to do dive into WP **development. **
 * There ought to be a way to tweak the data in the event item. Try setting the
   time zone to someplace else, save, look at the data online; then reset back to
   the local time zone.
 * FYI, I use ManageWP to monitor and back up all my sites, and with it I can easily
   set up a clone web site on a test domain and do some testing and troubleshooting
   out of the customer’s view.
 * Best of luck!

 * Hi Ray,
 * I use ManageWP as well. I mainly use it for automating plugin updates and for
   generating client reports. As for backups, I use the Updraft plugin, which has
   worked great for me. The testing I do is always through my host provider, which
   is Pressable. I create staging/clone sites and debug issues that way. It’s worked
   great so far.
 * For my original problem though, I haven’t had time to look at it. Other, more
   pressing, things have come up in the past week. I was hoping, though, that the
   plugin author would respond by now.
 * Thank you for the suggestion of setting the time zone to someplace else. I’ll
   give that a try at some point.
 * Happy New Year by the way.
