plugin is not turning on/off properly

    hiya. I love the concept so big and it’s perfect for my needs but something weird is happening. If I turn on hide post it hides the post most-of-the-time and sometimes doesn’t work, and when it does work (most-of-the-time) I can’t turn it off again. The toggle stays in the “hide featured image” position even if I change it save, and reload the page. Also if I try an incognito window or another browser.

    Hi,

    Thanks for reaching out. Your description sounds to me, like there would be a problem related to a different plugin or theme (e.g. something breaking JS). Could you pleas try to disable all other plugins, then test if everything is working. And if so, reenable one plugin after the other until the problem reappears? This would give a hint on which plugin is causing the troubles…

    Strangely enough, nothing. Deactivating all the other plugins doesn’t change the behavior. Hmmm.

    Buddyboss. I did turn off their associated plugins but it didn’t help.

    Hi, I just found out this is happing on one of my site too.

    I actually have 2 sites, but it’s only happing on one of them.

    The sites have identical plugins, all up to date, very similar content and pages on both. But it’s only on the one site that this is happening. They both use version 3.3.1 of Conditionally display featured image on singular posts and pages.

    It seems to lock in the current setting, or the first change to the toggle on a new page, then any attempt to change it doesn’t work. If you click the checkbox, then save, it looks right. But if you save again or reload the edit page the checkbox will revet.

    If you are viewing the page/post no amount of changing the toggle or saving will change what is being displayed.

    I’m not sure how long the bug has been happening for, potentially a while. The plugging otherwise has been great, I’ve been using it for a long time on a few sites it’s extremely useful!

    I’m happy to investigate and help fixing this issue. In order to do so, I must somehow be able to reproduce the issue–which I wasn’t with the infos provided.

    One way to provide me a minimal example with the issue, would be to reconstruct the non-working installation in the playground and provide me the export zip:
