 * Hi,
    I activated the plugin, but it caused some issues: the hamburger menu doesn’t
   work on mobile and on tablet, and the images disappear on the single product
   pages. What can I do in this case? Thank you!

 * First and foremost try to identify what is breaking things by just disabling
   CSS or JS or HTML or Image optimization (incl. lazyload). Based on that we can
   see what the next steps need to be 🙂

 * Hi Frank, thanks for your answer! I tried to play around these settings, but
   nothing helped. I had to deactivate the plugin again. 🙁

 * so the issues persisted even if HTML & CSS & JS optimization were off and you
   cleared the page cache(s) rkrista ? do you have a staging website where you could
   leave things broken for a while so I can look at the browser console & html source
   when AO is active?

 * Yes, I unchecked those options, but it didn’t help.
    I don’t have a staging website,
   unfortunately. My website is [nonkonform.hu](https://nonkonform.hu). Do you have
   a video where you explain all of the possible settings, so that I can follow
   the instructions? It could help, maybe.

 * OK, let’s take it step by step; what happens when you enable Autoptimize with
   only HTML optimization active?

 * Ooohh, no! I swear you I tested every option, but now, when I did it again, I
   immediately found what caused the issue. It was “Aggregate JS-files?” and “Do
   not aggregate but defer?” which both have to be unchecked for the website to
   work correctly. I’m sorry!!!
    Thank you for your help!

 * well, happy it works now rkrista 🙂
 * if you want you can try playing with the JS optimization exclusions while “aggregate
   JS” or “do not aggregate but defer” are active while keeping an eye on the browser
   console for JS errors.
 * if you want to do so, try excluding one of below each line in the comma-separated
   JS optimization exclusion list;
 * * `wp-content/themes`
    * OR `wp-content/plugins` * OR `wp-includes/js`

 * Thank you for your suggestions, Frank!
    It seems that deleting js/jquery/jquery.
   min.js from the exclusions resolves the issues, but with the JS optimization
   on, the performance of the website decreases significantly (even to 20%). I tried
   all the options within the JS optimization section.
 * Same for “inline and defer CSS” and the HTML optimization, they decrease the
   performance.
 * So, I don’t really know what to do, as PageSpeed Insights and GTMetrix still
   recommend inlining and defering JS and CSS.

 * some weird things going there, but always go for what gives you the best performance(
   focusing on the “core web vitals” KPI’s)! 🙂
