# [Plugin: Jetpack by WordPress.com] Need more control over modules

 * It’s surprising to me that you can’t disable specific modules. I would love to
   use the statistics but I don’t want the social media stuff on every site. Not
   to mention the other elements going on…
 * Until that functionality is built in I don’t think this plugin is the right choice
   for us.

 * You can turn off individual modules. If you go to your Dashboard and to Jetpack-
   > Jetpack, click on the Learn More button of the module you would like to disable.
   A Deactivate button should then appear, which will turn that module off.
