# [Plugin: Jetpack] Displaying error condition more notably

 * Recently I had a connection error to Jetpack’s servers. I did not know this error
   condition existed until I clicked on the Jetpack menu item on my Dashboard when
   I saw this at the top of the page “Jetpack is not able to talk to WordPress.com”(
   It was either above or below the text “Improve your site with Jetpack”; I can’t
   remember exactly). Is there anyway to put some sort of indicator next to the 
   Jetpack Dashboard menu item that there is some sort of error; kind of like they
   do when there are plugin updates and put a number next to the Plugin menu item
   on the dashboard?
