# [Plugin: Jetpack] "Plugin does not have a valid header"

 * Hey guys,
 * I am using WordPress 4.1 running the latest version of Theme.co’s X theme and
   everything worked just fine until I updated Jetpack yesterday.
    The plugin wasn’t
   listed on the plugin list so I deleted it via FTP and reinstalled it and upon
   activation the message “The plugin does not have a valid header” appeared. I 
   really need this plugin for many aspects of my site so it would be great if you
   guys could help out! I know this is a common topic but I didn’t find any of the
   other posts dealing with this to be related to jetpack.
