 * Hey Dan,
 * My company currently uses WordPress as a frontend for (mostly) rails driven content.

   In the past they had used the XMLRPC API but it is fairly restrictive and the
   version my predecessor used was essentially a big hack.
 * I would like to use your plugin to start replacing that and I am wondering if
   you have this plugin in github or at least SVN?
 * Your plugin looks very clean and has a decent test suite and I would like to
   contribute back my additions. Which would probably just be additional tests and
   maybe some additional support for post meta data which we (over) use.
 * Also- I did a quick run through your code and I noticed that creating posts requires
   a logged in user (which of course is good) but it does not seem like the plugin
   provides a login mechanism through the json api?
 * Thanks for your help.

 * Hi James,
 * Sounds great, I’d love to start incorporating outside contributions!
 * There is no login mechanism yet, mainly because I haven’t needed it for any of
   my own projects. It does seem like a good addition though.
 * Here is the svn repository:
    [http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/json-api/trunk](http://plugins.svn.wordpress.org/json-api/trunk)
 * Available through Trac here:
    [http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/json-api](http://plugins.trac.wordpress.org/browser/json-api)
 * For now maybe you could just attach patch files to tickets in Trac?
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks Dan,
 * I will fork it the project and keep a copy in github then create a patch from
   my work when I work on something relevant to others (like the login feature).
 * I will start working on the plugin later this month.
