# [Plugin: JSON API] Permalink Settings

 * Hello,
 * I’ve just installed the plugin and I found that it only seems to work when I 
   have set the default permalink ( [http://localhost/innerfunction/?p=123](http://localhost/innerfunction/?p=123)).
 * My site currently has ‘Post Name’ permalink option set ( [http://localhost/innerfunction/sample-post/](http://localhost/innerfunction/sample-post/)).
 * Is there any way around this ?

 * Problem solved…..my .htaccess fie wasn’t writable. So I changed the settings 
   on the file, and just clicked save in the permalink settings.
