 * I moved my WordPress site with Link Library from one hosting company to another,
so I imported my plugins as well as all the data. I went through the database
and edited a lot of path and file location info, including the “rsscachedir”
location in the link library data, which was pointing to the old server. Link
Library didn’t like that — each library disappeared in the admin and I got a “
divide by zero” error on the front end for each library. Putting the old “rsscachedir”
location back into the data fixed the problem.
 * Is there a correct way to update the data that won’t make the libraries disappear?
Will the “rsscachedir” location matter if we wipe the old server?
 * Also, the Link Library general settings reset themselves back to default a couple
times while I was making these changes, so I had to keep overwriting them with
the data from my old WP installation. Is there a simple explanation as to what
triggers the general settings reverting to the default? Just curious.
 * Thanks again for the plugin and all your help.

 * Have you tried updated the RSS cache dir through the interface? Did the directory
that you were trying to set the cache dir to exist and have correct permissions?

 * I made the change right in the database rather than doing it through the interface.
It appears that that does make a difference, as I just updated the rss cache
directory for one of my libraries through the interface and so far everything
   looks okay it.
 * I didn’t know that it makes a difference whether this is done through the interface
   or right in the database.
 * Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, again!
