 * I’m trying to edit the library’s stylesheet to look similar to this this: [http://yannickcorner.nayanna.biz/freeware-database/](http://yannickcorner.nayanna.biz/freeware-database/)
 * While my knowledge of css is limited, I thought I’d try by removing the borders.
   I set them all to 0, however the border still shows. Is there perhaps a different
   place to edit to achieve this?
 * Thanks,
    David.

 * The stylesheet editor is the place to make edits. However, the table should already
   look like it does on my side if you configure it correctly as a table. Can you
   give me a link to your site so I can see what might be happening?

 * Hello Jack,
 * Thanks much for your reply. Since the library is not yet live on my site, I quickly
   threw together a test one at one of my test sites. You can take a look at the
   layout here: [http://film-classics.com/test/library-test](http://film-classics.com/test/library-test)
 * As you can see, the search button is rather large, the categories, link box,
   and submission box all have a border around them, and overall doesn’t look like
   yours at all. I didn’t know that yours was the default, so I really can’t imagine
   what’s going on here. Please let me know if you need any other data. 🙂
 * Thanks!
    David.

 * These extra border and things are defined by the theme that you are currently
   using. While it’s possible to override these things in Link Library, it would
   be better if you chose a target theme for your deployment and then see how to
   make Link Library look good with that stylesheet.

 * Hello Jack,
 * I see what you’re saying – I just activated the HoPE theme, and it looks much
   more beautiful. Unfortunately, I have to use the twenty ten theme, and can’t
   really change that on my live site as so much depends on it.
 * Would editing the css in the library’s own stylesheet, using twenty ten, be quite
   a bit of work to make it look good? I wouldn’t be sure where to begin the editing
   as my css knowledge is limited, and I certainly wouldn’t want to place a burden
   on you. I know you’re pretty busy lately. I don’t know, what would you recommend?
 * Thanks,
    David.

 * There are ways to override elements from the theme by adding the !important tag
   to CSS. It does not always work perfectly but could be a way to resolve this.

 * Hello,
 * I’m working my butt off trying to figure out how to edit the css for the links.
 * I’ve tried adding it in many different place including the css style sheet. Is
   there a tutorial somewhere on how to add css? I am baffled and I know once I ‘
   get the jist’ of things it’s going to be smooth sailing but I’m just not getting
   it.
 * Thanks for a great plugin.
 * Cheers
    Doug

 * I found it but the more important question is…. Why did it take **me** many hours
   to find this ‘editor’ I kept reading about all over the place…duh.
