 * Even if you got those plugins not installed it shows up, but why?
 * Also how much does this plugin impact the speed of a site?

 * There are only 4 plugin checkboxes and there is no need to check if they are 
   installed or not. If you mark them as checked nothing will happen anyway besides
   a saved data in the database as 1 or 0.
 * Everything else is within WordPress itself and the plugin just makes it easier
   for users to disable or enable some basic features in WordPress.
 * For now the GZIP compression is the one that compresses the site and speeds up
   things.
 * The plugin is not attended to do advanced things but only good basic things.
