what exactly are you using as shortcode when you are expecting a different number of posts?
[catlist id=10,500,555,2300,5644 orderby=title order=asc numberposts=-1]
It only shows 10 posts.
same here, i only get 6
i already tried updating the php file in the plugin editor as suggested elsewhere, but that didnt help either

how did you solve it sayumi? i never had this problem with [catlist] before. must be a theme issue also with me.
there was an option to decide how many posts to show in archive-pages, and that was what was overwriting it
alright! i also found it, it was a template setting! now everything works fine!
