# [Plugin: MailChimp Widget] Added feature

 * I added a description field to the plugin code so users can add information describing
   why people could/should sign up for the list. Is there a place where I can post
   these changes, in case the author wants to add them into a future release?

 * Thanks for your interest in the plugin. I’d be really interested in seeing your
   mod to it… my email address is james at nearlysensical dot com. It’s unlikely
   that I’ll want to integrate that feature into the main plugin, at least in the
   short term, although I am thinking it’s likely I’ll incorporate some hooks to
   allow that kind of customization without touching the plugin core. Seeing your
   code could help me figure out where I’d like to put them 🙂
