# [Plugin: MailChimp Widget] Form not working

 * Hi!
    The form doesn’t get submitted. I guess this is a Javascript issue of some
   kind. Inspecting with firebug yields no attempt to load anithing via AJAX, and
   no Javascript errors though. It’s like I never clicked on the button. Does anybody

 * Hi a.blok,
 * A look with Chrome’s developer tools is telling me that the issue is with the
   wpcontent_slider, which seems to contain a bunch of syntax errors (looks like
   missing option values) when it’s loaded. Is this another plugin that maybe needs
   to be disabled?

 * Hi James,
    thanks for checking out. I deactivated the plugin that created the
   JS errors. Now both Chrome’s Dev Tools and Firebug for Firefox tell me the JS
   is ok. But the problem still remains. Cheers! Alexander

 * Hi Alexander,
 * So it works fine if I disable Javascript, which indicates to me that there’s 
   some sort of conflict going on with some other Javascript on your site (the AJAX
   delivery is working fine for me on several sites, so I’m thinking it’s probably
   b/c of something else you’re loading in). My advice would be to turn off plugins
   one by one until you find the culprit. Failing that, have a look at the result
   if you try a different theme as well. Before doing any of this, be sure to back
   up your site completely, since turning off plugins can often erase their settings,
   and if you’ve spent a lot of time configuring the site, you’ll want to be able
   to recover quickly.
