 * So, Plugin Commander works in wp3, plugin management does not.
 * Problem is, Plugin management is far superior in multi-site, as you can control
   what plugins a user is able to toggle and what plugins he does not see at all.
 * So, I’ve edited aaron edwards plugin management plugin to be wp3 compatible.
 * Check it out here [http://erikshosting.com/projects/update-wpmu-dev-plugin-management-plugin-to-wp3/](http://erikshosting.com/projects/update-wpmu-dev-plugin-management-plugin-to-wp3/)
 * Many thanks to the original plugin author, great work!
    -Erik

 * Hi erikshosting,
    Will this work with a regular wordpress3.0 (NOT mu) installation
   with NO mu-plugins folder and subfolders multisite activated? That would be great

 * If you;re running multisite it’s the same thing as what was mu.
 * Create the mu-plugins folder. WP will recognize it.

 * Thanx andrea.
    Does this mean that all plugins that used to be in the mu-plugins
   folder will function? Furthermore, I tried it and noticed that 1. it did not
   appear in the plugins list (nice) 2. its options were available only for the
   super-admin (nicer)
 * Would all the mu-plugins I place in the mu-plugins folder, behave the same way(
   nicest)?

 * Generally speaking, yes.
 * > 1. it did not appear in the plugins list (nice)
 * Look at the plugins sub-menu items. 😉 There will be one called “must-use”. Only
   Super Admins see this.
 * > Would all the mu-plugins I place in the mu-plugins folder, behave the same
   > way (nicest)?
 * No. The plugin itself has to be coded that way. It’s not a function of the folder
   itself.
