check box as a alternative to dropdown is a good idea
especially, if the search results show up and change instantly as long as new item checked or unchecked….just like a real time filter to content,that will be cooooool~!
and one more suggestion….support tags as input condition,that will also very useful

I would definitely love a feature like this. Paired with being able to display grandchild or great grandchild categories, this would be an incredibly powerful tool (I like categories better than tags because they follow a hierarchy – being able to filter down would be incredible).
Here’s the value I see in it for me: I am building a simple recipe database. A “cake” recipe may also have built-in instructions for icing. So I file it under “Applications…Cake” and “Applications…Toppings, Icings, Fillers…Buttercream icing”
So, if you want a recipe that paired a cake with a solution, you would select the two subs under the same category, and BAM, you get the one article you want!
I could really use those checkboxes, too !!! 🙂
