[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Can't Edit Thumbs

    I’ve uploaded some pictures but can’t edit the thumb nails.

    On FireFox 3.6 it won’t accept my selection. I get the selection window up and can click and get the moveable selection rectangle, but when I click a second time to finish my selection, nothing is selected and I get an error message when I try to save.

    In IE 9 when I click Edit Thumb, the edit thumb screen never appears, I just get a timer going round and round.

    Same thing is happening to me! I’m also using Firefox 3.6.22 and NextGEN Gallery 1.8.3. I was using 1.7.4 before and had the same problem, reason why I upgraded thinking it was a version problem.

    Now the weirdest thing is that I have another website that also uses NexGEN Gallery version 1.7.4 and the edit thumbs feature works fine in Firefox 3.6.22. I had both websites WP dashboard open side-by-side with the same NexGEN gallery version open, one worked and the other didn’t! Go figure!

    I’ve switched to Safari temporarily and it works perfectly fine there. I suggest you do the same or try another browser, besides IE, of course! 🙂

    At least under IE this should be working

    Thanks Alex, that code you posted fixes IE’s problem but not the firefox one. I’ve done a quick screen capture of the thumbnail selection problem on firefox 3.6.22:

    Just tested the same with Firefox 6 and it looks ok, maybe 3.6 has an issue…

    Seems when I use the editor in WP, it says that it is inactive…Tried to paste in the new code, BTW, with IE, I get a javascript error; cannot insert from the gallery, I have to use Firefox to use the gallery..
