# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Permalinks structure

 * I have a question regarding permalinks structure.
 * If permalinks is not enabled, paging URL is this one
 * [http://domain.com/gallery/photography/?nggpage=2](http://domain.com/gallery/photography/?nggpage=2)
 * If permalinks are enabled, it shows up as sth like
 * [http://domain.com/nggallery/page-424/page-2](http://domain.com/nggallery/page-424/page-2)
 * Can we have the permalinks structure as something like
 * [http://domain.com/gallery/photography/page-2/](http://domain.com/gallery/photography/page-2/)
   or
    [http://domain.com/gallery/photography/2/](http://domain.com/gallery/photography/2/)
 * if permalinks are enabled instead?
 * The current one doesn’t really follows the original permalinks the gallery is
   on and it’s confusing.

 * Currently not, it require a bit more rework in the plugin so that it doesn’t 
   increas too much the queries…

 * Right, I’ll just wait to see if it’s possible in the future release now. Meanwhile,
   I’ll just use off the permalinks. Thanks 🙂

 * Next Gen 1.4 with WordPress 2.8.5
 * **Manage Gallery >> Create Page will not work with WordPress PERMALINKS turned
   on**. It works fine if WordPress permalinks are turned off, but this is not what
   I need to do.
 * I have tried changing Permalink Option in Next Gallery Options. That does not
   help.
 * If I create a new Page the WordPress way, and then use tinymce to insert the 
   gallery, it works fine.
 * Alex, thank you again for all your hard work.
