# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] [Plugin: NextGen Gallery] Problems after upgrading

 * Hello, after upgrading to the newest version of the nextGEN gallery it doesn’t
   show the thumbnailview or the slideshow. “Error Message” is that I need to download
   Flash and I need a Javascript Browser… but first it worked really good. Then 
   I upgraded my wordpress to version 2.6 but the problem still exists.. seems that
   the plugin doesn’t find my flash and javascript plugins.. I’ve tested with Firefox
   2, Firefox 3 and IE7. All show the same message..
 * Maybe somebody have this problem, too?

 * I had the same problem.
    I tested the upgrade to 2.6 on my local WP-install and
   everything worked like a charm. I had used the automatic upgrade for the online
   install. First step was to delete the files and load them up again via FTP. But
   that wasn’t enough, i needed to change the file attributes to 744. After that
   everything worked like wanted.
