# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Problem activating plugin

 * I have uploades the files for the NextGen gallery. When I try to activate the
   plugin I get this message:
    “NextGEN Gallery : Tables could not created, please
   check your database settings” Can anyone give me a hint about what to do? I hope
   I can use the slideshow. There is no nextgen gallery on my site yet, but I hope

 * I have an other site with wordpress. Here I installed NextGEN without problems.-
   Strange!
    A colleague copied the SQL code for “Create table” for the three tables
   from whe working site and added the tables manually on the site with error. Then
   I disabled the NextGEN plugin, and enabled it again: Error dissapeared!
