# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Slideshow doesn't load?

 * I’m trying to insert a slideshow into a page, and it won’t load – just spins 
   for minutes. I’ve tried resizing images to be smaller, uninstalling/reinstalling
   the plugin, and played around with using different formats. The gallery works
   just fine within the exact same page and with the same images. When viewing the
   gallery as an overlay it loads with no issue, so I don’t think this is a problem
   with my image sizes…any ideas?

   thread, and if I can’t manage to make it work I’ll check back there with issues.
