# [Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thickbox effect doesn’t work?

 * Hi all,
    Nearly there now with NextGEN Gallery, but have one remaining issue.
   Basically when you click on any of my thumbnails the image just opens in a blank
   page and not via the ThickBox Javascript effect. I see others had this issue 
   but fixed it by turning off AJAX commenting in the theme K2 options. I’ve done
   this but still it doesn’t work.
 * I only have these plugins:
 * Akismet
    NextGEN Gallery Widget Context WP Security Scan
 * Can anyone recommend how I can fix this issue?
