# [Plugin: NextGEN Slideshow] Suddenly stopped working?

 * I’ve been using the NextGEN Slideshow on a site for a good few months now with
   no problems, then a couple of weeks ago it just stopped working, it loads the
   first image OK but that’s it, it doesn’t slide through the rest of the images.
 * Since this happened, there has been an update to NextGEN but that didn’t solve
   it, I’ve also disabled then enabled the plugin, created a new gallery and uploaded
   new images but neither fixed the problem, it also happens on the live site and
   on the development site running on WAMP.
 * Btw, it’s running WordPress 3.5.1. and NextGEN 1.9.12
 * Any help would be appreciated.

 * Now fixed, turns out the jQuery.browser property has been depreciated which the
   slideshow (jQuery Cycle) uses so for a quick fix I reverted back to to jQuery
   version 1.8.3.
 * I do hope the plugin is updated to reflect this so I can run the latest version
   of jQuery
