Just pushed version 5.1.7 to the repo. The “zero count” relied on missing translations and will now fallback to default english. As for the debug errors, I found only 1 error which marked __ngettext as deprecated. Unfortunatly I can’t change that, because I can’t get _n to work the same way as __nggettext. If someone finds a fix for this I be glad to include it.

I really do not understand the need to translate plugins that DO NOT HAVE a user interface, only Dashboard options and in this case 1 option.
10 lines of help in a readme file in multiple language should be more than enough.
I still don’t use WordPress in italian because it is not possible to keep the Dashboard in english.
The error messages I’ve got were on a site with a new SQL database, probably empty variables, all is ok after pressing settings without changing anything.
If you mean user interface = settings page, than NoSpamNX acutally indeed requires translation, because of the settings page. NoSpamNX 5.1.7 has 35 lines which need translation, so I think some lines in the readme might not be enough.
For user interface I mean the user visiting the web sites, an admin should know the 10 english words necessary to use the control part of your plug-in…..
