Wish you would have considered the same. Just saying I had to deactivate via FTP every instance across 40 websites. That being said, i like your plug in and did give it 5 stars after initially installing a while back. We do our best to keep it backward compatible – but believe that 18 months since PHP 5.5 had become unsupported with known vulnerabilities was reasonable – especially with PHP strongly recommending that 5.5 not be used because of that. * If you can get your host to upgrade to PHP 7.0 or higher (rather than 5.6 +) you should also see a noticeable increase in speed in your sites backends – that is what we found when we upgraded PHP to 7.0 in January last year. * Thank you for the 5 star review that you gave the plugin – we use it on all of our website clients sites – it is awesome for helping optimize page speed load times. Apparently my theme needed an update because it was not compatible with php 7.1. I moved the server config from 7.1 to 5.6 and everything works correctly. No errors related to php from the pluggin nor the template.
