 * This review could have been 5-star ONLY if I was able to install it. However,
   I just found out that the plugin is not PHP backward compatible. The plugin will
   cause fatal error if the PHP version is below 5.6.
 * My hosting PHP version is 5.4.45 and I am unable to use this tool.

 * There is really no need to support such an old version of PHP. 5.4 and 5.5. are
   not supported anymore even by PHP itself, and they no longer receive security
   updates. You should truly consider upgrading. Your logic for 1-star review is
   flawed.

 * Hi [@eyesfortech](https://wordpress.org/support/users/eyesfortech/), sorry you
   are unable to use the plugin with the outdated version of PHP version.
 * Your current version of 5.4.45 is no longer supported and I highly recommend
   you get your host to update your PHP version to at least 5.6. Not only to use
   our plugin but to also ensure your site overall is secure.
 * Security is very important to us and we do not want to jeopardize this by supporting
   outdated PHP versions.
 * Hopefully, once you have updated your PHP settings and are able to install the
   plugin you can give us another review based on your experience.
 * Thanks!

 * PHP is now in version 7.2. I’m supporting version 5.6 and up. How’s that not
   backward compatible?
    I even state the plugin requirements before you download
   it and block users from activating it so they don’t get frustrated about the
   plugin not working properly.
 * It’s not really my fault that your host is using an ancient version of PHP.

 * I’m leaving this review in place. I’m pretty sure this feedback is accurate even
   if I think it’s a bit silly to leave a review like this.
 * Here’s why.
 * > The plugin will cause fatal error if the PHP version is below 5.6.
   > My hosting PHP version is 5.4.45 and I am unable to use this tool.
 * This plugin also does not work in Ancient Sumerian or other dead languages. Don’t
   use this or other modern supported plugins written in a version of a language
   that is not riddled with security vulnerabilities and has no support from PHP.
 * Yes, WordPress itself works on PHP 5.2.4.
 * [https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/](https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/)
 * But that page starts with this.
 * > To run WordPress we recommend your host supports:
    - [PHP](http://www.php.net/) version 7.2 or greater.
    - [MySQL](https://www.mysql.com/) version 5.6 or greater OR MariaDB version
      10.0 or greater.
    - [HTTPS](https://wordpress.org/news/2016/12/moving-toward-ssl/) support
 * And it shortly says this too.
 * > Note: If you are in a legacy environment where you only have older PHP or
   > MySQL versions, WordPress also works with PHP 5.2.4+ and MySQL 5.0+, but these
   > versions have reached official End Of Life and as such **may expose your site
   > to security vulnerabilities.**
 * If your host doesn’t offer a supported version of PHP then they either don’t
   care about their users or they don’t like them very much. You really need to
   find a responsible host provider.

 * An awesome plugin gets a nice 1 star review because it does not support PHP 5.4.
   Pretty sad.
