Plugin not working

Hi,
I was looking for I plugin to have my blog users like my content but not with social network. So I was advised to use your plugin which I really like. Looks perfect to me. The only problem is that It doesn’t work on my website. It is displayed and it is beautiful but when i click it, nothing happens.
The problem could be that you made it compatible only with WordPress up to version 3.5.2?
Unfortunately I need to use the last version (3.8.1) because it is the client request.
Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? I’m not a skilled coder, just a designer, so I don’t know how I to try and do it by myself.
Your plugin is pretty cool and I really would like to use it.
Please help me!
