 * The plugin is installed and set up correctly, but the email is getting sent without
   the added message.

 * I tried both a regular product and a virtual and both didn’t work.

 * The plugin works absolutely fine for me, on a default WordPress installation,
   so I am unable to determine why it would not work for you.

   you shared, I see TAB “Custom Emails”. Isn’t that the configuration you are looking
   for?
