Flickr gallery not working: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden error

    I tried another plugin (Flickr Photostream) and it didn’t work, so I decided to try this as well. However, I get an error after I input the username and API Key. It just displays:

    The web service endpoint returned a “HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden” response

    I ran into this same problem with the other plugin. Is this related to the recent Flickr API change, or is there something else that I need to fix?

    Looks like some issue with your webhost. Make sure it’s allowed to send requests to Flickr over https.

    I ended up installing curl and that fixed the problem.

    thanks for the hint here, but also after installing curl I still have the same problem. The plugin was working perfectly till flickr decided that my domain no-ip.biz is unsecure. Now I switched to webhop.me, this I could enter in the flickr app config page, but I still get the error “Oops! Flickr can’t find a valid callback URL.” when I want to grant the access.
