# Plugin now not returning "_value" on custom fields

 * Hi,
 * I’m a mobile app developer that was using your plugin to export news and events
   from a wordpress site. My client has updated the theme on their site and the 
   plugin is no longer exporting the custom_fields values. e.g. There is a custom
   field call “news_image” that’s an image id, I used to “news_image” (the id) and“
   news_image_value” (the URL), now I’m just getting “news_image”. The same is happening
   with custom_field dates.
 * I can’t find where the “_value” stuff is added? It is easy to add this to the
   plugin’s code but this added code will disappear with an updated.
 * Any help to either add my own code that’s plugin-update-safe OR why the plugin
   has stopped returning “_value” fields would be great.
