# [Plugin: Optimize DB] 2.9.1 optimize db not working?

 * This is a great plugin.
 * I recently upgrade to WordPress 2.9.1 and since then, Optimize DB just says “
   Checking database tables. Please wait.” I’ve deactivated and reactivated and 
   even reinstalled.
 * Is anyone else encountering this issue. It worked fine with 2.9.
