 * Hello,
    Im really new to all this. Im trying to build a wordpress site for the
   little animal rescue I work with. Is there a plugin or widget that will let me
   put up thumbnail pictures of the animals, with a hover text that gives a short
   bio and a link to a page just for that animal.

 * I think that what you are looking for is called a tooltip. I just did a quick
   search for WordPress tooltip plugin and this one – [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-tooltips/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-tooltips/)
   
   seems like it might be good.
