    I’m still enjoying all of the great features of this plugin, but all of a sudden the “add participant” function stopped working. I deactivated then reactivated, no joy. I deleted Participant Database then reinstalled, still no joy. I deactivated other plugins, ditto.

    I am able to list participants and edit records, but I can’t add anyone except by importing a csv file or by going into cPanel.

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    When you deleted the plugin, did you use the delete function, (which will delete the database) or did you just delete the files? The reason I ask is one thing that can cause the “add participant” page to fail is if the default record (with an ID of 1325) has been deleted or altered so it can’t load the default settings.

    I’m sure that the default record is the problem. I had deleted it using phpMyAdmin because I believed, perhaps mistakenly, that it resulted in an incorrect count of participants. I think I can fix it myself now.

    I did not see anything about the need for the default record in the documentation, which in general is really good. I might have just been reading too quickly.
