[Plugin: Password Protect Plugin for WordPress] log-in screen message not displaying

Hi there,
First off, thanks for a great plug-in!
The password part works perfectly, however no message is displayed. Have you ever encountered that? I can’t see anything wrong with the code; the message is in there, it’s just not displaying.
