 * I get the yellow exclamation point in the corner of the browser and it says that

    Char: 1913 Error: ‘J.parentNode’ is null or not an oblect Code: 0 URL:

 * Also I noticed that not all of the popups are working correctly, some are and
   some just open a new blank page with the following error code

 * Thanks! But… uhm… I don’t get any JavaScript errors on that blog – neither in
   IE 7, nor in Firefox 3.

 * Hi pasber. I see that this post was left unresolved; but I’m having the same 
   problem. I installed pb-embededFlash and did not change any of the options; I’m
   using all the default selections. I tested it on Firefox and Google Chrome and
   it works fine. However, Internet Explorer (both 7 and beta 8) give me the same
   error message when loading:

 * I’m simply calling up a shadowbox with the video.

 * I suspect this is strictly an IE issue and not related to the other plugins I
   installed, otherwise I would be seeing the same problem in firefox and chrome.

 * update to my previous post. . .
 * I found two plugins that conflited with pb-embedFlash. They are Cform7 and AudioPlayer.
   After disabling both, IE does not report an error loading the page anymore. However,
   the actual shadowbox still does not work. It goes through the motions of opening
   up, but then the player does not appear. I may have to settle for a pop up which
   does work. Has anyone noticed this problem, and is there a solution to it?
 * Again, just to clarify, this is not a problem with Firefox or Google’s Chrome.

 * IE is just crap, but >40% are using it. Just because it’s “there” if you install
   windows…
 * Well, I don’t know what exactly is going wrong there. It seems to be an IE-only
   issue that some videos don’t load in Shadowbox. Maybe an update to Shadowbox 
   v2 will solute this, but (as somewhere mentioned before) pb-embedFlash v1.6 (
   with Shadowbox 2 and JW FLV Media Player 4) will not be available before February’
   09 ’cause I don’t have that time at the moment, sorry.
 * — offtopic
    I cannot do any more than writing code that’s 100% (X)HTML conform
   and say that’s working on Firefox, Opera, (maybe Safari? don’t know) and Chrome
   oO. Microsoft should get IE to be conform and it should not rely on the programmers
   to write workarounds.
 * (No offense:) If another plugin is working fine with IE, please use that one.
   I’m tired with programming “IE-conform” stuff :(.

 * You do not have to apologize for coding to meet the industry standard. I hate
   IE as well. I do NOT use it. I use Firefox. I was just testing my site on IE 
   since I know there are still some poor souls out there that are using it.
 * Anyway, don’t worry about it. However, I did capture the code that IE is having
   a problems with. I’m going to paste it here, but again, don’t worry too much 
   about it; unless you see something real obvious that might provide more light
   on the problem.

 * Sorry if this is old hat to y’all!
 * But, the following error is what when access the page with the audio-player:

 * I get this instead of the error on line: 6 Char: 1913, most likely because I’ve
   got the most recent “beta” version of the product which probably has a new piece
   of code.
 * The problem seems to be isolated to IE, I happen to be running IE v8.0, but I’ve
   encountered no problem with this in Mozilla, Safari, Chrome or Opera.
 * I’ll be looking around for some resolution to this but if I’ve missed something,
   somebody please let me know.

 * Hello,
 * Internet explorer shows this error because it seems to be set in some sort of
   debug mode. Firefox just suppresses the error.
 * The problem is with a javascript library called swfobject which embeds flash 
   using javascript. The error on line 5 occurs when more than one swfobject is 
   being embedded to the window. One of your plugins hasn’t been coded well so causing
   the problem – look in your plugin list for one which maybe using flash such as
   Kimili Flash Embed and disable it.
 * I had this problem with Kimili Flash Embed so just replaced it with another flash
   embed plugin called SwfObj.
