 * You think it doesn’t work because you activate it and then add code to your existing
   TEXT widget. This adds a new widget called PHP CODE. Replace your TEXT widget
   with the PHP CODE widget.

 * Thanks I had the same problem. I was thinking that the plugin just enhanced the
   standard text widget and I was mystified that it wasn’t working until I found
   your forum post. PHP Code Widget is a very useful plugin!
