# [Plugin: phpbb_recent_topics] Threads don’t show

 * Hi,
 * I just installed this plugin (on my [blog](http://www.economicthought.net)) and
   configured it (with the correct mySQL database name and with the default tables
   name), but it won’t show the most recent posts on my forums. I even tried starting
   a new thread, and it wouldn’t add any threads onto my sidebar.
 * Furthermore, my links will no longer show, and it seemed to screw up my calendar
   archive widget.
 * Any ideas? Thank you,

 * Hello,
 * Sounds like you might have found a plug-in conflict…. is it possible for you 
   to disable each plug-in one by one and see if you can get it working?
 * Are you getting anything helpful in your apache error log?

 * Deactivated other plugins, but the problem still persisted. So, then I moved 
   the widget all the way to the bottom, and no more problem, but it still doesn’t
   pick up the links from the forum.
 * And, I don’t even know how to check my apache error log. 😛

 * hummm have you checked it works with the default theme?
 * I’ve just loaded the same sidebar wigets as you to my test server and all is 
   good 🙂
 * re: Apache log, you’re service provider should be able to help, ask to see the“
   error_log”.
 * Oh, and which versions of plug-in and PHP are you using?
