[Plugin: Polylang] with Canvas theme: main menu not translated.

    Hello,

    All 3 tests in “Read this before opening a new thread!” conducted.
    Forums: searched. Some similar cases but no answer.

    Permalinks settings: /article-name/
    Static frontpage used
    Polylang settings:
    Lang by default: FR
    URLs: lang determined by contents (also tried adding lang as a dir, to no avail).
    Delete languages from permalinks: checked.
    Detect lang on home: checked.
    Media: checked.

    So…my issue is the menu translations do not appear on clicking a different language. Translations do exist but I never see them, the menu remains in FR.
    The test to create 2 menus and assigning the 2nd works, ie I do get the other menu.
    Deactivating all other plugins does not solve the issue.

    The theme is Canvas and I found a site using both that theme and Polylang, where it works: http://www.fermehelene.com/
