# Plugin possibly violating GDPR

 * Many users including me are using Lazy Load for Videos to prevent embedded video
   players from calling their services without consent of the user, as it’s required
   by GDPR.
    Unfortunately the plugin calls another external service instead, to
   buffer the preview images: i2.ytimg.com This means, the plugin is currently not
   GDPR ready.
 * I’d request to have an option to buffer the preview images on the own host (for
   example under wp-content/images/previews or wherever. This would make the plugin
   GDPR conform.
