# [Plugin: Post Thumbnail Editor] Some problem with AdRotate plugin

 * Hi Sewpafly,
    first of all, this is a great plugin, very useful, thanks a lot
   for share it.
 * Now the problem 🙁
    When used with [AdRotate](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/adrotate/)
   a great plugin to manage banners, it happen that modal windows of PTE doesn’t
   show the picture on the left and thumbs on the right but there is only a column.
   This could be less manageable but not a big deal.
 * The problem is that in this situation some pictures are not resizable.
    Can choice
   on which thumb to work on, can crop the image but after pushed on Create and 
   during elaboration, this alert appears
 * > PARAM not numeric: ‘NaN’,ResizeImages initialization failed: ‘587—-‘
 *  and nothing to do except close modal window.
 * I tried in different conditions and observed that this happen when a source image
   is bigger than 4/500 px of one side and that number shown on alert (in this case“
   587”) changes but it’s not in any case a side of the picture.
 * Any idea?
 * WP 3.2.1 – PTE 1.0 – AdRotate 3.6.3 – PHP 5.3.x

 * Thanks, MacItaly for the notice/bug report. I have seen some problems from the
   AdRotate plugin before and if you could give me some more information, it might
   help me to reproduce the problem.
 * 1.) Does it happen for all images, or just images with a certain size? What size
   image can I use to duplicate the problem?
    2.) What browser are you using? 3.)
   I’m guessing from your username you’re on a Mac? 🙂

 * As I said, all images bigger than 4-500px per side. For sure try with an image
   bigger than 600 px.

 * You guessed correctly, I’m on a Mac 😉 but I have tried with Safari, FF, Crhome
   both in Mac and Windows and results is the same.
 * Hope that you can solve, both plugins are usefuls, for me.

    the PTE 1.0.2 solve this issue, now it works perfectly also
   with Ad Rotate. Great work 😉

    again me, with a new error 🙁 Unfortunately I spoken too early.
   I tried the combination PTE and AdRotate in one installation (test) and all goes
   well, so I confirmed resolution but after I tested in another one, practically
   identical (the first one it’s a copy of the second that it’s online and I use
   the first one for tests) and this is the new alert content:

 * The problem that you can see from the logs is the imgareaselect plugin seems 
   to be having some issues. I would try deleting and re-installing the plugin then
   clearing your cache and trying again. Does the img selection/cropping part seem
   to be working well (the part on the left hand side)?

 * I don’t know which plugin is imageareaselect as didn’t found not even as part
   of PTE or AdRotate or others.
    Anyway, I deleted and reinstalled PTE 1.0.2, deleted
   all caches, site and browsers ones but the alert is the same. The image selection/
   cropping works well and are correctly shown in two columns. If you have a patch
   to try please send it to me and I’ll test asap. In case, macitaly at gmail.com
