[Plugin: Post To Sidebar] Post to sidebar on posts

I would like a certain post to appear on the sidebar through the site. I can get the post to appear on pages and other custom types. However I can’t get it to appear on the home page nor can I display it on other posts.
Am I missing something?
On the edit page of the post to be shown on the sidebar, I can choose among a list of pages and other custom types elements to display it on, but I can’t see neither the home page nor any article to choose from that list.
