 * Using WP 3.0.3, and Postie 1.4.1, and when I try to run /wp-content/plugins/postie/
get_mail.php either by cron job, by hand, or even manually, I get a 500 error.
Nothing shows up in the server logs either.

 * Try to disable “Show friendly HTTP error message” from IE > Tools > Options >
Advanced. Then you’ll be able to see the error. 🙂

 * I’m not using IE. In fact, same error on my Ubuntu desktop.

 * The IE thing was just to figure out the error message…
    Try to access the page
   by adding this parameter: content/plugins/postie/get_mail.php**?Submit=Run+Postie**

 * That gives me a 404, Page Not Found.

 * I get a 500 internal server error when I try to activate the plugin. Any ideas
   why that might be?
