# [Plugin: Postie] Categories selection not functioning

 * Categories using brackets or colon in subject line does not work. Notice was 
   made to forum and email, no response from Postie has been received.

 * I have the same problem with the categories not being picked up.
    They are removed
   from the subject line but the category gets set to the default. It’s too bad 
   because this was a major improvement over the original post to email plugin.
